Psalm 64: How To Respond To Slander

Somebody talks about you, twists the facts, and suddenly your name is getting passed around like it’s public property. That moment can make even kind people want to go scorched earth, especially when the accusation is wrong and everyone seems ready to believe it. We sit with Psalm 64 and get practical about a problem every church member, leader, and everyday Christian eventually faces: slander, gossip, and words that cut like arrows.  Pastor Brandon reads Psalm 64 and shows how David doesn’t pretend it doesn’t hurt. Sometimes silence gives the truth room to do its work, and over time a pattern of dishonesty exposes itself without you wrecking your integrity to “win” a moment.  We also go deeper than self-defense. What if the real issue is our motive? What if our words bring attention to us instead of glory to God? And what if, in another situation, we’re the one doing the slandering?
