Now, I know you're an author, a speaker, among many other things, but before we kind of dig into what you're doing today, I was wondering if, if you could take me back.

Like, I know that you were married for over 30-plus years, and then it ended in divorce, but what was that moment when you knew that, "I just can't take this anymore"?

We had had problems in our marriage, I thought, for about 10 years, and I had discovered an affair 10 years prior.

And we had worked our way through it and gone to counseling and thought we were doing better.

I told my very best friend, no one else, that that had happened, and that's only because I was with her the weekend after it had all happened and I was a mess, so that's why I told her.

In 2013, I had found pictures on his computer with somebody, and I was devastated and embarrassed and humiliated, and I just was too ashamed and too afraid to do anything about it at that time, and that's embarrassing for me to say, but it's the truth.

And in 2024, I came upon some evidence that showed me it had been ongoing for many years with many people.

Now, interestingly enough, the week before, I had read Colleen Hoover's It Ends With Us.
