Bittensor subnets are beating Google and working with OpenAI. If you are not paying attention right now, you risk missing the next TAO subnet bull run. In today's episode, we break down the leading…
Okay, so one of the biggest things that's happening under the hood right now is Root Reborn, V441.
So I'll get this up on the screen.
It has a lot to do with root staking.
So there used to be a forced sell tax that occurred and basically there would be this auto sell feature.
Right now there's a reduction in the structural sell pressure on all subnet tokens.
So
this is very good for the price of tau and for the subnets themselves.
So this is gonna support productive subnets instead of draining them.
This is a huge advancement.
I mean, it makes a lot of sense because Root was constantly selling subnet alpha.
So there was just constant cell pressure.
But now root validators become capital allocators so they can choose the most productive or, you know, game changing subnets, allocate their capital, their long term capital to stronger subnets.
And I think that's kind of where the whole way BitTensor is shifting, not only with Root Reborn, but all the changes you're seeing constant the team's making is that they're trying to create hyper incentive for subnets to actually make real products.
emissions aren't just going to go to all these subnets anymore.
It's very hard to produce scam subnets, to produce fake subnets that are being called out.
So we have Root Reborn, which is getting rid of cell pressure and increasing by-pressure for productive subnets.
And then we have the entirely new emission system, which just recently came out, which has now... put even more emission focus on the top 30 subnets.
Whereas before the emissions, of course, they were still distributed towards the leading subnets, but the tail went way further down.
You know, there's 128 subnets.
So you could see subnets well down the leaderboard getting emissions.
And honestly, a lot of the subnets were not doing anything.
This was a drain on the system, a drain on Tau, and probably a lot of cell pressure.
But with the new emission system, emissions are even more hyper-focused and allocated towards the top 30 subnets.
So now you have hyper-competition within the BitTensor Tau subnets.
If you want emissions, which is how going towards the team, the subnet, you have to produce something truly game-changing.
