S4 E5: TAMICA LEE "Surviving the death of her father, the cycles of life, and accepting what's next"

Well, yeah, because you didn't know what was going on.

Yeah.

So you had to make a brand to make sure to make yourself like irreplaceable.

Yes.

You know.

And so at this point, Hunter, my stepson is at he's going to Holy Cross.

Mm hmm.

Fifth grade, first year.

And there's a gala.

And at the gala, we ended up sitting with this random group.

And I recognized the GM from WGNO at the table.

Now, mind you, I've been on air for two weeks at this point.

I have a job.

I'm a traffic reporter.

I see the WGNO.

And I remember they just came out with News with a Twist.

Like, News with a Twist was new.

And I'm like, that's what I want to do because it's entertainment.

And it's a nighttime show.

It's a nighttime show.

It's evening.

That's what I want to do.

Like, driver reporter.

I want to be there.

So I tell him at the table, hi, I'm Tamica Lee from Channel 4, but I want to be on your show.
