The post reads, "Would I be the asshole if I said I hated our plans? So my birthday is coming up, and my friends and I were talking about going to the city and hanging out.
I understand most of them are still in college with final weeks coming up, so my idea for us to see a show is off the table, which I am fine with.
Now, in this group, there's, like, six of us.
Three of us have birthdays very close to each other, so we wanted to make it a birthday bash, but celebrate and go out on my actual birthday.
I was also the one to suggest the bash.
One of the places we talked about was going to the Museum of Sex, plus going to another museum, as I love museums, and a few other things.
The other day there was a cut to only one museum, and the group decided on the Museum of Sex.
The only reason I agreed to the Museum of Sex was because we were going to a museum that I actually like afterwards, as they were far more into it than I was.
This group is fairly new to each other, and we're all adults, but also, I am very asexual and very open about it.
We all make the occasional sex joke, but I don't do much sexually, and they all know that.
I also don't think I'd really enjoy being surrounded by sex for multiple hours.
We're not getting tickets until the day of, but would I be the asshole if I said I'd rather we didn't do the sex museum after they were all really excited about it?"
Yeah, where is it? 'Cause I know Iceland has, like, the Phallological Museum, which, although I have been in Iceland twice, haven't been there.
Oh.
But it-
Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking.
It seems goofy, though.
[laughs] What do you mean, goofy?
Like this bounce house of boobs.
No.
Not a boob bounce house.
I thought I saw one image just kind of scrolling through very quickly of, like, three taxidermied animals mounting each other.
