The Mind Of Men discuss another hot topic.
And the first story that I'm talking about I'm sure you guys probably heard and seen about this one, and this was involving William McNeil Jr., who was a college student, and he was stopped for a headlight and seatbelt violation.
And I apologize for not having the correct city or state.
But in this city and state, apparently it's illegal to not have your headlights on.
which didn't make sense to me, for one, because when this young man was pulled over, it was daylight.
So I didn't understand that, for one.
But later on, I found out that, of course, the headlights had to be on, I thought, at least in inclement weather.
Fog, rain.
Yeah, something where your vision was impaired.
And in the videos that I saw, I didn't think that his vision was impaired during the driving based on the weather that I saw in the videos.
Secondly, This young man, the anxiety that he had when he got pulled over, now you don't see this in the videos that I saw, but he actually had, well, I saw it in one video, and this was the video that I think the police actually released, but there was one officer that was pointing the gun at him, and this was prior to him closing the door when the officer asked him to step out.
In doing so, after he closed his door, I guess, I don't know if this set the officers off more or less, but they ended up smashing his windows and then physically punching this young man in his face and then snatching him up out of the vehicle.
Now all of this to me, just by looking at the video, definitely didn't seem warranted.
I thought the young man was definitely handling the situation in a calm manner and was trying to abide by his rights.
He was simply asking the police why was he being pulled over.
I think any human being pulled over by the police, that's the first thing you want to
know.
You know, why are you pulling me over? What is the issue? And to my knowledge, I thought police had to...
They do.
They're supposed to tell you why they're
detaining you or whatever the
case may be.
And lately, bro, I've been seeing a lot of videos where the police will actually hem you up and put you in handcuffs before they even give you the explanation on why you're being put in handcuffs.
Yeah.
What pissed me off in this example was when the sheriff of this policeman spoke on the matter and unfortunately this was a black man that also had power and to agree with what i saw and i'm sure what everybody else saw i just couldn't understand how he could come out and say the things that he was saying basically that you know he was kind of justifying these policemen's actions right uh have you guys seen this video or heard of the
