Uh, Big's Backyard Ultra, I feel like the only place to get, like, actual media attention and, like, figuring out what's going on at Big's is through Mark Dattel's Instagram.

Mm-hmm.

Like, someone [laughs] left a comment.

They were- they're like, "We're getting more updates from Mark Dattel's Instagram than Big's Backyard's Instagram."

For sure.

I was like, "Yeah, dude." Um, like, they're posting, like, every lap Mark does, just about.

Um, but as of today, uh, it's Wednesday, October 21st, at 11:40 AM Central Time, um, USA's in the lead.

They got two runners left.

They are at yard 100, 416 miles.

I actually looked into the world record of what is the world record for the most amount of yards, and the world record for the most amount of yards completed or miles completed with this, um, format Backyard Ultra world record.

Let me pull it up so I don't butcher it.

119 laps or yards, 495 miles.

So right now they're at mile 416.

So if they can get to 500, they're gonna break a world record.

Um, and which would be sick.

And so I'm cheering for, obviously, Team USA.

Um, we have Mark and I think John, um, are the two guys left.

Yeah, John Doll.

Yeah, John.

So, um, yeah.

So the interesting thing about this, um, whole race is, like, these guys are probably thinking in their head, like, "If I'm gonna make a big, the biggest athletic play in a race format like this, now's the time to do it." 'Cause number one, it's world championship.

Number two, if they ever want- have the goal of, like, "I wanna break 500 miles in the future," and they came this close, they'd have to go through all that pain and days again to even get to that point of 500 people.

True.

And so, or 500 miles.

So I think they might be thinking in their head, like, "Oh, if I wanna get to the world record of 500 miles, now's the time to do it.
