So we've got lots of things to talk about because obviously I've been away and we did pre-record a few episodes, but we haven't actually recorded a podcast episode in a couple of weeks.

But first off, I want to say, I know I've told you this already, but I'm telling everybody I know that when it comes out next month in the UK, everyone should go and see a documentary called you can see everything um and it's a documentary by nathan fielder and it's with uh it's a documentary about and including elizabeth holmes who is um a convicted um criminal uh in the u.s in is imprisoned at the moment for um Well, you should watch the documentary.

But if you don't already know about Theranos, the company that she founded, it was basically a medical fraud or a medical scam whereby her and her team were claiming that they had invented a machine which could scan and diagnose either existing disease or conditions or predict somebody's condition.

tendency to to have a condition from one single drop of blood and basically it was a great idea but the technology just didn't exist and still doesn't exist um
so this this documentary is getting a lot of attention like i've seen it written about all over the internet you went to see it in the cinema it has the cinematic release in the US yeah it was

already out in the US and my niece took me she'd already seen it and she wanted to go again and so she took me and the rest of the family and I was absolutely blown away like I don't want to sort of give too many spoilers but it People were gasping in the audience.

And I would also say, if you've not already seen the dramatization starring Amanda Seyfried, which is called The Dropout, It's well worth watching that or even just maybe watching a few episodes of that before you see the documentary.

it's not... critical, but your enjoyment and the impact of the documentary will be much, much greater if you watch even a few episodes of this drama series beforehand.
And have you seen, how's it possible to see the documentary in the UK? Is it on streaming?

No, it's getting a cinematic release, but not until I think the 20th of November.

But apparently the screenings that have gone on sale already are selling out in the UK.

So wherever you're listening to or watching this episode in the world, if you've not seen it, do try and get yourself a ticket.

It's a really... interesting story but the the way that it's told and the way that it's presented in this documentary is quite groundbreaking and i think a very pivotal moment in sort of pop culture history i think this will be something that is talked about for many many years to come
