How Was Avrohom Unique?
The pasuk continues, "Atah Hu Hashem Ho Elohim asher bacharta bi'Avraham." You are the Rabbeinu Shel Olam who's Elohim, who chose Avraham Avinu.
Rebbe Veakim Miller points out that over here we stress Ha Elohim.
Until now we said just Yud Keivavke, which is the name that's unique in HaKadosh Baruch Hu's relationship with us.
But here we say Elohim, which means that the Rabbeinu Shel Olam chose Avraham not just because he's Hashem, he's Yud Keivavke, he's the Rabbeinu Shel Olam of Klal Yisroel, but because he's even Elohim.
Even in the fact that the Rabbeinu Shel Olam controls all of the kochos of the world, the way HaKadosh Baruch Hu operates over nature, the Rabbeinu Shel Olam overlooked everything and chose Avraham.
Meaning out of the entire creation of this world, it's not because HaKadosh Baruch Hu had a previous affinity towards Avraham.
It's simply because Avraham was the greatest of all creations.
And that's why we stress Ha Elohim.
Like we explained previously, it's only Yud Keivavke that's unique to Klal Yisroel.
And still the Rabbeinu Shel Olam chose Avraham Avinu.
