We got almost 400 surveys back spanning teenagers or former students who had graduated from a seven-year span.
The number one indicator on if they still loved Jesus, if they were still involved in a church, in a different city or this city, wherever, and if they rated themselves as loving God the same as they did in high school or better, the number one indicator was, did they serve somewhere in high school? That is the number one thing.

I love talking to parents who have middle schoolers who are like, my middle schooler, they just won't sit still and serve.

But then watching your middle schoolers serve in kids ministry, you're going to go, okay, who is that person? And the reason is this.
