Ben JurekGuestEven then, I still found myself after that being like, huh, they're shooting me from more than 15 inches away now.
Like, sure, they could have easily shot me no matter what, but now they get to back up and shoot me, or now they get to cross-court me and they don't have to use the guns that are near me to do the job.
And I was still noticing, I'm like, wow, I just like really am not going to use the pistols on these things anymore.

yeah even anything you can force out of your opponent no matter how minimal it is is impact right it's still resources it's board position it's tempo it's it's something that you are making them have to expend and thusly like it's just more value you're getting out of that unit right
true indeed all right well uh i think that uh wraps us up thank you so much flu for joining us yeah of course and yeah so i'll go ahead and close out the episode now with my own thoughts on the old space marine so i was of course the fifth member of the team and i was running my space marines as a reclamation force So this is the Captain Titus best day ever detachment.
So I'm going to give up all the good space print attachments that I played before.
and I got to bring in what I, kind of after a little bit of thought, thought was the best 2dp detachment I could add to Space Marines.
I don't think Reclamation Force is as good as Blades of Ultramar, but it is noticeably able to be combined with Libraria's Conclave.
And so I kind of built my list to be a very take all, come where it falls where it falls, and I was our take and hold player.
I found out with some practice games that take and hold could set up a very consistent scoring plan.
and uh one that i was i was quite happy with and so i was i was very content to just say i don't want to be the you know the defender that gets to make the choice you know kind of that that hero defender like we saw uh with the tau and i also don't want to have too much of a pairings preference necessary you know we saw that with the slanesh demons they needed a little bit of protection against certain aspects i really wanted to go in with my army and just say yep the space marine card is here the space marines are going to go do whatever they do.
