So for this month and the work, we had our first ever annual fundraiser.
Can we call it
annual when we haven't done two? Is it inaugural? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We did a fundraiser, y'all.
The table.
And it was a hit.
We pulled it off.
I think
we did more than pull it off.
I think it was great.
I was really happy to see how many people that really have been supporting the work over decades.
And then people who are maybe newer to the ecosystem were able to come together and specifically across program areas, like seeing, you know, volunteers at the drop who are super committed to that space, sit at a table with Vicky who leads the bike shop.
Right.
And has been doing that work consistently.
for eight or nine years now right it was super cool to see those people connecting because while they're both serving different sub missions maybe um we all served this like overarching goal to see a web of city and um that was the first time for some people to be able to shake those hands and meet those people and i thought that was really cool to watch unfold
Yeah, you know, and it was a challenge, right? So everyone, you know, well feds tied closely to that story and the bike shops closely to that story.
And there's like, we want to tell each of our stories, but the effort of the night, and I think we did a pretty good job, was to tell like the meta story, the vision for how these are all demonstrations of the kind of city we believe that can be built.
And I was pretty proud of us, honestly.
I think you're right.
We did more than pull it off, although it was hard.
It was hard.
Yeah.
Applying lessons learned to do it again.
Do
you want to maybe leave listeners? Like we, you know, we called the event, the table.
