Insatiable Curiosity & Talent Transformation with Selena Yuan

Insatiably curious is a wonderful compliment to receive.

Sure.

And I gotta tell you, Selina, I've, I've received some 360 feedbacks, and no one's ever said anything quite that nice to me.

[laughs]

That's because I haven't taken it for you, okay, Rob? [laughs]

Oh, really? Yeah.

What, what would be the beautiful compliment I would receive? [laughs]

I think you're curious too, and I love our previous conversation.

You already prompted me to think deeper about the topics we wanna cover.

What is most meaningful to your audience? I think that, um...

I- I'm not saying because, because to make you happy, right? Rather, I think, um, I'm hoping the audience from your podcast will get something out of it, really, and that's why we do this.

And hearing...

I, I see your passion in it.

That's why we're, we're gonna have some fun today.

Thanks very much.

That's really sweet.

I appreciate you saying that.

I really think that curiosity is sort of the prime value.

I think everything is downstream of that.

Like, if you're curious, you will be empathetic.

If you're curious, you will have a hunger for knowledge and learning new things and meeting new people.

Uh, and I just think a lot of, any successes I've had in my career have been downstream of being curious.

So it's a wonderful thing that, that your teammate shared with you.

I'd love to know, in general, do you think the 360 feedback exercise ... is worthwhile, or is there a way to make sure that it is a worthwhile exercise and not just something that people dread filling out?
