Now, you cleverly alluded when we were having a chat off air, this is about joy, happiness and positivity in a time where it's not necessarily like that for all small businesses.
So, come on, Jen, give us some joy, happiness and positivity.

Yeah, look, it's pretty tough, isn't it, to try and find something that, you know, if there's a business owner listening that won't throw the radio at me if I say, you know, we just need to diversify our marketing or, you know, something like that.

It's tough out there in small business land and I think as much as, you know, I want to put a positive spin on our chat today, it's tough.

And I just thought that was a good little segue into what did it feel like 10 years ago in Geelong.

you know, people were really worried about the local economy and would it survive and would there be huge unemployment rates and things like that.

And I think the story has shown that that hasn't been the case, that there's been other investments in health and education and tourism and major events and things like that to keep the whole economy of Geelong and area going after such a big manufacturing shutdown.

And I think somehow small business needs to take some solace from that it feels pretty crappy at the moment but what is that thing what is that little bit of diversification what's that next income stream that we could think of what's that thing we need to look at um you know that could change the directory of our business just like i know that you know geelong had big money to do this and big investment but you know the story is still there diversification really help when the chips are down? You know, what is it that your region needs, that your customer needs? You know, and is that something that now perhaps you could lean a little bit further into?
