Commanders Lose Terry McLaurin For The Season... And Potentially For Good

Logan, it was a horrible first half.

Out first down 17 to two, out gained over three to one, 20 to three.

It looked like we were headed toward one of those like Monday Night Massacre type situations, and then the boys battled.

They, they do what they do for Dan Quinn.

They played really hard.

They got back in the game, and they almost won the darn thing.

Yeah.

[clears throat] So, you know, obviously we're doing the call, me with Bram and Fletch, and you can just...

It's funny when you're on the broadcast, you can kind of feel the air going out of, out of the commentary because I think ev- like everybody w- it looked like it was over.

And when you're calling a game like that, it, it's really, really difficult.

And so, [sighs] you know, there's a lot of things, a lot of adversity around this team the last couple weeks in terms of, you know, the, the fourth quar- the, uh, the end of game situation versus the Giants.

Obviously, there's some stuff in this game.

But I, I was just incredibly impressed with the leadership of this team, like the players on the field, the coaches on the sideline to get that response in the second half.

'Cause I've been a part of a lot of teams as a player where that just doesn't go down that way.

And it's, and it was...

Again, there's a lot of issues with the roster, a lot of issues with the team.

There's some technical stuff we gotta talk about here.

But to kind of get that motivation in the second half and to make it a game against what I think is maybe the best team in football at the moment, I thought was a testament to, uh, the Washington Commanders and what they got going on at the moment.
