Dude, there's so much depth there, and, like, the, the first thing that comes to mind as I hear that, and I'm sure this verse has been very prevalent [laughs] throughout the course of that journey, but Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

In all, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight."

How many times throughout the course of all of those pieces coming together did you struggle with trying to make sense of everything on your own?

Like, you just get to this point where you're like, "God, what can I do to fix this?" And you get to the point where, man, like, I- I'm 41 now, I'm just learning this lesson.

Like, sometimes you just have to run to your Father and say, "God, I'm here."

Everything that I've been through, um, is I want the nearness of God, because if I have that, everything else starts making sense.

Like, I have actual hope that I'll not only make it through whatever it is, but that I'll be better because of it, that I'll be more equipped, and that whatever I've been through will not be wasted because I'm close to the Savior that will guide me through it.

Um, so that's been, that's been a shift from saying, like, "Here's my strategy," to just saying, "Here's my Savior." Like, this, this is what will sustain me through it, and then building from that.

Once you're close to Him, then you have confidence that maybe you didn't have before, that you can actually still have purpose that maybe outweighs the pain, that maybe takes you to a place where there's something so good even in that, that you, you actually get excited about the day.
