We talked about this goal about a year ago is when we started it and what's to come as we continue to work to reach everyone everywhere.

Yeah, it's been an exciting year, and I'm honored to be a part of this.

And if you have been a part of any of these initiatives, I'm sure you would say the same, that it's been exciting to see how God has moved as we say, hey, we're going to pray for every household.

Because this isn't just a slogan with a pretty little icon, which it does look pretty good up there.

But we're talking about prayer.

We're practicing prayer.

We're walking neighborhoods.

I just said butt.

Yeah, because that's where we get to talk about that beautiful aspect of hope in all this, right? Cheryl, such a good word and applicable for today.

And as we talk about this and that word of hope, and as we look at Micah, right? It's easy sometimes to get distracted or even in the sense of a...

thinking about the negative, the reproach, all the negative things when we're going through these minor prophets of like, man, he's talking a lot about judgment, a lot about all these other things, but there's messages of hope here as well.

And when I was thinking about this, I want to share a story with you guys, a story of hope.

How many of you have a story in your life that you're like, I will never share that story, and yet that's the story you share the most? Anybody else out there with me? All right, that's just a me thing.

and they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.

We are excited that today we get to come together as a family, as a church community, and really talk through the scripture, really talk through what God wants to do here.

And we are starting a new series.

So if you have ever read through the whole Bible, you come to cross a small series of books, okay, called the Minor Prophets.

How many of you guys have heard that term before? All right, all right.

So, and if you never have, don't worry.

This is the great spot to be because now you're going to learn about it.

Now, one of the things that they wrote on that day really has sparked the minds.

And actually, even as I was praying about God, what do you want me to preach about? Don't worry, I'm not preaching the Declaration of Independence.

Don't panic, all right? But the Declaration of Independence came to my mind.

And it says this, if you're familiar with it.

It says, "'We hold these truths to be self-evident, "'that all men are created equal "'and they are endowed by the Creator "'with certain unalienable rights, "'that among these are life, liberty, "'and the pursuit of happiness.'" This day, many people are in the pursuit of happiness.

But today, as we celebrate this great country, and as I really truly stand up here, it's not just something I say as a cliche tagline, but I truly feel like the Lord put this on my heart to preach today.
