Josh JohnstonHostWell, by the grace of God, brother, that's the first thing I would say, because truly sometimes I think, wow, this is no coincidence that this person has landed in my life.
But the other thing that I always think about, and I hope I can say it the same way that I think about it, is you have to put yourself in the blessings way.
We can come back, but I want you to expand on that for me, too, because I never figured out how to explain that.
Yeah, because you said, by the grace of God, first, and I think about... for, for take a step, for example, like John's my partner and take a step, uh, brought him on as a partner in 2025.
And, uh, then you talk about like, you got to put yourself in the blessings way.
And I think about, you know, we sometimes, sometimes we earn opportunities, but I would say more often than not, God, God places opportunities in our path, uh, because we put ourselves in a situation where we were ready to receive that opportunity or we put ourselves in an environment where we could be awarded that opportunity.
So for example, I think about my, my, the, the, the, you know, partnership I have with John, I met John because I was at a community workout event where we went out downtown.
Um, Um, and because I decided to get up at five 30 and go out with this group of guys ended up running into this guy.
Um, because I had made the decision a year before that to start a podcast, I got to know John while we were there.
had him on the podcast and then we just kind of built a good relationship over time like making the intentional efforts to like follow up and stay in touch with them um the office space where it now became available and before we were ever partners and take a step because we had built this relationship and we were so like-minded he's like hey you want to partner together just on the office space so we got together and i was like yeah absolutely i took advantage of that opportunity And then, you know, after we started the tribe and we started to grow that, it made so much sense just to have him on the team because we were talking about it all the time.
He was the perfect person to help facilitate that, help cast the vision for it.
So like all of that, a lot of people would look at him like, oh, you're lucky that you met John.
But he has been such a value add to the brand as a whole because I was making the intentional effort to put myself in the blessings way, kind of like you were talking about.
I wasn't just sitting on the couch playing video games or watching Netflix and my phone rang.
