This year I didn't make a conscious decision to do it, but I had a summer of yes.

I just kept getting presented with interesting opportunities and invitations and deciding to say yes to each one as they came up.

I'm going to share three stories of opportunities I said yes to and what I've learned from them and why I would encourage you to have your own season of yes.

And we're not talking about the Shonda Rhimes year of yes, where she had to say yes to everything.

And we're not making an enormous commitment every time some new shiny object pops up.
