[upbeat music] Modernization of legal processes is one of the thrusts of the Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations, or SPJI.
Moving towards a technologically driven judiciary, the Supreme Court in 2025 approved AM Number 24-10-14-SC, or the E-Notarization Rules, and the guidelines on the accreditation of electronic notarization facility providers.
This marks a significant reform that uses technology to make notarial services more accessible and efficient nationwide.
This initiative supports the Court's commitment to innovation and expanded access to justice by allowing the notarization of electronic documents, including through remote notarization using accredited software applications.

It's the 20th of August 2026, and today we'll talk about electronic notarization, or E-Notarization, one of the Supreme Court's initiatives under the Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations 2022 to 2027, or SPJI, aimed at modernizing legal processes.
And with us to discuss E-Notarization is Attorney Bettina Melchor, Officer in Charge of the Office of the Bar Confidant and Interim Electronic Notary Administrator.
