Buy, Hold, Sell, Captains, & Mailbag: Round 21! | SuperCoach AFL

I am in some finals.

But it doesn't mean there's nothing you can do to improve your team this week.

So my buy of the week, who is Marcus Herbert from the West Coast Eagles, who I'm going to buy off my bench and bring him onto the field to replace Finn Callaghan, who, as you mentioned, joined the illustrious list of Supercoach premiums to go down with.

injury this year now based on Herbert's form certainly last week over the past month or so and his matchup this week I'm considering this an upgrade but Dan you were telling us all about Marcus Herbert six seven weeks ago you brought the receipts today so the table is yours what can you tell us about Marcus who you saw up close down at Geelong when he was playing for the Cats VFL team

Yeah, I think I might have to take a clip of his contract.

I probably helped him get drafted, pumped him up for three years.

I reckon he was thoroughly deserving of an AFL opportunity after starring at Geelong VFL level.

But he's just slotted into that Tom McCarthy role, hasn't he? And that was one of my...

Better calls probably of the year.

I'd say my only thing I've got right for the year that he might potentially replicate Tom McCarthy.

But, yeah, he was huge last week.

I think at quarter time of that match, I checked him on my bench and happened to have the emergency on him.

Others didn't.

I think you may have had Joel Fitzgerald.

Yeah, I did, yeah.

Well, it turned out I couldn't have really looped him on anyway.

But, yeah, that was a pretty good play for people who could do it last week.

And now a lot of us will be just forced to do it anyway, which I don't think is a bad position to be in whatsoever, especially when he's playing sort of that loose defense role against Richmond on Sunday, which could go really well.

What if you didn't have Marcus here? But I saw, you know, not a lot of trades out there, but some people are using a trade to bring him in for $313,000.

Is that a good move at this stage of the year? Well, just looking at my most

traded out actually in my team, 337 people are trading him out this week.

Definitely reverse that move if you're one of the 337 people doing that.

I'd actually consider him potentially if you have maybe two trades.

You've got Finn Callaghan there.

You could make a little bit of cash onto Marcus Herbert and then money that you could spend on another trade.
