Noah Mraz

Um, now he's going to come under pressure in the next little while because they experimented with a lad this year that is probably not going to play forward, but he was very, very capable in the second Ruck position.

Um, and that was Noah Mraz.

So

they really liked what they saw from him.

Noah.

Noah Mraz.

Jason Mraz.

Jack Bowes, Blake Justice, Vandermeer, two late picks, 60 and 78, Banfield and Sellers.

Indeed.

I guess the question is then what can we get? Who can we shake out? I know that Hawthorne have rejected our interest in Noah Mraz, who looks like a promising key defender.

I know you've been big on Sam Butler as a player that we could target that's potentially surplus to Hawthorne's needs, but could fit well in our space or what our team needs.

You know, it...

instead of necessarily playing a key and decepting back.

If Noah Mraz gets into the side, if you just want that delivery further up the field, you know what I mean? Good, good player to keep around.

And final bit of news is John Longmire is employed as general manager of performance at Essendon Football Club.

Hey,

And I think there is a hope there for Essendon people that even though it's different to Roosie, where Roosie was the actual head coach for a few years before he handed over to Goodwin, that...

This might be the guy that we can look back on in four or five years and go, he helped Teal turn the club around.

My mate went on to go, we played in a prelim five years later.

That's not bad.

That's what Horst would have wanted.

So, you know, I definitely took that in my stride.

But yeah, it's funny when Liam Pickering is the one backing up Essendon, like a guy who does a little bit of footy sort of stuff here and there, but has never been known to be a pro-Essendon person.

It is nice when someone who you don't expect to be pro-Essendon kind of comes and goes, what are you talking about, mate? Like, he's a brand new coach.

How do Hawthorne get hold of Zach Merritt and Ben King?

This has got some similarities to the Zach Butters situation in terms of the Ben King one, in that Gold Coast are happy to consider the free agency compensation pick for losing Ben King, but they want also a trade separate to that, and they've been targeting a couple of their inexperienced young forwards in Aidan Schubert and also Noah Mraz.

So they've wanted to get one of those guys on the hook.

At this point, nothing's come to fruition, but they still want to add players to their mix and not just get picks.
