Al Paton's Top 5 Captains | SuperCoach AFL Finals: Grand Final Edition

And at number five, the bum is back, Hugh McCluggage, crowned bum of the year on the Phantoms Lair podcast.

He did ruin the Phantom season.

Well, he helped ruin it.

Plenty of self-inflicted wounds there.

along the way by Fant.

But he's had a pretty rotten season, let's be honest.

Humour cluggage in Supercoach.

But in finals, is he back? He scored 126 points in the prelim, helped by some massive plays late in the game, which definitely helped boost his score.

But he was pretty good before that, and he scored in the 90s the week before.

So there's some points there, especially with Lockie Neal not playing at time of recording.

We don't think he's going to be there.

So some more points potentially in the midfield for Brisbane.

And Fremantle, not an easy opponent by any stretch.

But if you look at the last couple of weeks, Errol Goulden, Bailey Smith, they've both put up pretty big scores.

So potentially some scores there for the offing for humour cluggage in the grand final.

And we know he loves playing in grand finals.

Obviously Brisbane playing in their fourth in a row.

In the last three, he's put up some really good scores, 124, 102 and 126.

So it'd be a big call to put the C or the VC on him, but I'm going to be picking him in my Supercoach finals team.

And he's someone we're going to be talking about when, Classic opens for 2027.

He will be very cheap, but we'll talk about that then.

Just put a pin in him for those pre-season conversations.
