Um, so anyway, what I got going on today is, uh, so one preseason game, uh, is under our belt, and it was a tough loss to Detroit, but it was a good game and kind of funny to watch.
We destroyed them with our starters in the first half, lost it with our bench in the second.
But Jamari Bouye, uh, it didn't go in, but he made a couple of very key plays near the end of the game to win it.
I think we expect too much of a backup guard who just got a contract, not even a year, like barely a year ago.
Um, Bouye looked good to me and I believe he'll be a much needed combo guard for us this season.
I think he has proven that he can more than hold down the point guard position and can get a three if needed.
He played the point the entire second half, and except for a little rust and a lot of youngsters who were excited and could not catch his passes or hang onto the ball, uh, I thought he had a pretty good game, considering it was the first preseason game.
He played like a rookie in his first game against legit pros since looking pretty solid in the Summer League.
Uh, two, it took most of the third quarter for him to calm down, but he seemed a little too excited to be, to be effective.
And the cool thing about Koa Peat is he wants to do all that, and the best thing is he doesn't have to.
