Yeah, you know, one of the things that has always concerned me is that as pastors, we always encourage our people to draw near to God, to be close to God.

And we go about this various ways in trying to explain that until the human heart experiences God the way God is meant to be experienced, we will always have a sense of anxiety or frustration, even depression.

And having experienced mental illness for a degree myself about five years ago in anxiety disorder, I realized there were things in me that even though I was preaching out loud, I wasn't really living internally.

How is it? You know, we're always told draw near to God, but we're never really told how to.

So I really set out to study the Word and try to figure out what is the Bible trying to say to me? I know that I'm saved by grace through faith, so I know the curtain of the temple is torn in two and I can come into the presence of

But how can I experience God on a personal level? And that's what we're going to be talking about a lot today.
Pastor Jeff, you were sharing with us moments ago that you've just come to Australia from Fiji.

One of the things that people ask me is, as an American pastor, why are you so involved down in Australia with Vision Radio? And a lot of it has to do with Phil Edwards and I, the CEO.

We have a very common heart, and that is we want to see people hear the gospel all across the land, all across the world, all across the South Pacific into Asia.

And for a long time, we've been talking about resurrecting a Christian radio station in Suva in Fiji.

And I asked Phil if there's a way that one and all could partner with him to be able to do that, not only prayerfully, but financially as well.

Again, we mentioned the deputy prime minister has been trying to give us the rights to be able to broadcast.
