[upbeat music] Hello, anesthesia enthusiasts, and welcome back to Style Points.

We have a special episode for you today, and it is one that has been three years in the making.

Longtime listeners may recall episode seven, "The Wisdom of Interns." We sat down with a class of graduating interns right before they started as CA1s.

They talked about emotional growth, leaning on the class above them, and learning how to tell sick from not sick.

Then, in episode 21, "The Wisdom of CA1s," we brought them back after their first clinical anesthesia year.

That time, we heard about the first case where the attending walked out of the room, about borrowing a little bit of style from every faculty member they worked with, and about learning to roll with the punches.

Today is the third installment from that same class.

These residents have now finished CA2 year and are a few weeks into CA3.

We're doing something a little different this time as a bonus.

We're going to play back part of their intern episode and listen to their reactions.
