You've got bands like String Cheese, Green Sky, Bluegrass, Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth, to name a few.
They've demonstrated longevity and have long intertwined.
the jam scene to their music and to their crowd.
Obviously, it's not a new genre of music, but there seems to be a proliferation of really talented acts that are on a fast rise.
And I'm not sure for me if bluegrass is really becoming more prevalent or if it's just me paying closer attention.
But it seems like there's a brighter spotlight cast on the genre.
There are just a growing list of great jammy style.

And then you've got Kitchen Dwellers who played this event last year.

How has the scene, the jam grass scene, the bluegrass scene overall evolved since you guys kind of got involved in this festival or just in putting festivals on in general overall? Kelly, why don't we start with you?
I mean, I think that there's just been a good... driving force between the old original members of Bluegrass, the Sam Bush, the people that created this Newgrass sound 30, 40 years ago, and these younger bands that have seen them perform at Telluride and kind of emulated their sound and taken it to the next level, you know? So it's not your grandma's Bluegrass anymore, but it's also not necessarily your Sam Bush's Bluegrass anymore.

Pedals got involved.
you know they're they're taking it the jam band like you said scene just melted everything together and uh now you've got i mean you mentioned magoo coming up

what a great band to sort of show how they're
amazing
they're we've taken green sky we've taken yonder mountain those bands are over two decades old now and now to see these young kids like uh bay grass this year we've got mountain grass unit and shadow grass like it's like the young kids coming up and carrying the torch with even more epic jams that you just can't even wrap your brain around.
Oh man, don't say pass the torch, man.
