just trying to think i might know it might have been even 1986 anyway it was around that time the turn of the middle to the late 1980s this was after we'd been i'd been in the sixth form for a while oh okay yeah this wasn't straight away but it would have been about a year in i guess of the two years i spent in the sixth form and anyway the next thing that happens is like we all say well me and truck i think david were david lived further away so i don't i can't remember why he was there but he was he was there a couple of times but he wouldn't be there regularly but truck said we must come down here every monday or whatever it is and just write more songs and get enough songs together that we can do something with them Or whatever.
Well, the lyrics, the tunes were ultra, ultra, ultra simple and basically just repeated phrases over and over again.
And the lyrics were whatever outrageous crap we could think of or I could think of because I suppose I was coming up with them all.
So Truck must have said something like, we must get enough of a band together that we can play gigs and see how that goes.
That must have come from him because I don't think I would have suggested that because I've always been a bit stage shy, really.
I must have either remembered you from... being around the band that your brother and Steve were playing in.
