SEWN Magazine with Michelle Morris

What happens when a sewing machine, a dozen magazines, and a whole lot of “wait, where’s the Black representation?” turn into a publishing dream? On Stitch Please, Lisa talks with Michelle Morris, founder of *Sewn Magazine*, about sewing, creativity, representation, and building the magazine she couldn’t find. Plus, a denim ceiling proves that when Michelle gets an idea, even the ceiling isn’t safe**.** Where You Can Michelle! ===== Hosted By: Dr. Lisa Woolfork Senior Producer: Krystal Hill Producer: Mike Bryant ===== ======= Dr. Lisa Woolfork is an associate professor of English specializing in African American literature and culture.
