Weekly Reading for September 13 - 20: Venus squaring Pluto

Hi there, welcome to the Starchild Weekly Reading for the week of September 14th through the 20th, 2026.

I'm Jessica.

I'm going to walk you through the astrology of this week.

And this is a very interesting week because it's when I would say the assignment for the fall season especially when it comes to our relationships is being handed to us and it's no longer we've been talking about the upcoming Venus retrograde for a while now and this is the week that it stops being a concept and very much becomes our very real problem that we must deal with and I don't mean that entirely in a bad week But this week kind of hands out the syllabus for the next three months and almost everything on it, and there is a lot on it, is the opening scene of something that will keep going through December.

That's what this week is.

So I want to say at the very beginning, this sounds like we've got really ominous astrology to get into.

I promise it's not ominous astrology, but it is going to be something that's applying pressure to something that we care about.

Some relationship, some project, something that we want to feel really good is instead something that we're maybe kind of obsessing over.

that definitely has some issues under the surface that need to get sorted out.

And we're not going to feel like it all gets resolved today, tomorrow, this week.

And so I want to say that if you feel that way, if you feel like there is a lot of pressure in this place, in this relationship, and I don't feel... that it's entirely resolved yet that is what I would expect and that's not something we should worry about because what I'm talking about right now is Tuesday's Venus square to Pluto which we'll get into more in a minute but when Venus stations retrograde in a few weeks it's going to be doubling back and repeating this exact same signature two more times over the next few months So we are already very much in a season of doing some very deep work when it comes to this part of our life, wherever this is landing in our chart, when it comes to the Venus kind of themes in general in our lives.

And we're simply not going to work it all out this week.

So that's just what I want to say.

It is the opening of this thing that we're going to be going through until early December.

So on Tuesday this week, the big headline is Venus and Scorpio making a square to Pluto and Aquarius again for the first of three times.

And if that means nothing to you, if that is Mad Libs of astrology words, just hang out.

We're going to get into all of it.

Also this week, a bigger generational aspect is going exact, and that would be Neptune and Pluto.

They move very, very slowly.

And so this is not the kind of thing that's going to very suddenly change the texture of your day.

They've been getting closer and closer to each other very slowly, but it is going exact.

So we're going to talk about that, which is, we love a good generational aspect around here.

Chiron is retrograding into Aries on Thursday.

We'll talk about that a little.

Again, not something that I think is going to like shake up our lives overnight, but definitely worth noting because it is wrapping up a project and a mode of working with our old wounds that we've been doing since 2018.

And we're kind of done with that now.

So we're going to talk about it.

We also have a Mercury opposition to Saturn coming up on Friday.

That's not going to be our funnest day, but it's okay.

We're going to work with it.
