Sporting Pulse Sept 19

All right, so, look, just, yeah, beautiful weather.

It's beautiful weather, and there's a bit going on still, but last weekend you went down to Lake Bolak for the Men in the Air stuff, mate, and what's your recap?

Yeah, no, it was a great day.

Really good day over there.

They had a big crowd.

They would have been happy.

There was a few local wins.

Penzhurst won the C-grade netball.

I think Karamit, it was the old story there.

Karamit hadn't lost a game all year, I think, and they lost the grand final, as we hear happens occasionally.

Yeah, so Penzhurst won the C-grade netball.

And then we spoke to Ryan Burgess on the program last Saturday morning.

And I saw three quarters of that game.

I got there about quarter time in the under 17s.

And yeah, it was a really good game of football.

There was some very good young footballers for both sides.

I did speak to a past player and he said it was one of the best games of junior football he's seen for years.

Went to overtime and the...

Two periods of five minutes of overtime plus time on.

And it was late into the second period of overtime before there was any score.

So at one stage, it was almost looking like they could have been heading towards double overtime.

But Penzers kicked two late goals in that second period.

And who was the

hero of the last goal? We'd better give him a mention.

Jay Casey.
