**From the stage to the face painting chair with Claire from Aurora Face and Body Art!** This week I'm joined by Claire, who has spent over a decade in the face painting industry alongside a career…
So you don't just do face painting, do you? I think you do the airbrushing as well.
I've just started that.
Yeah.
So that's still like a new venture for me.
Yeah.
And what made you want to sort of diversify into airbrushing?
Good question, because I haven't really diversified, I would say, too much.
I don't do balloons.
I don't do decor.
I don't do the craft parties, although they all look amazing as well.
There's a part of me that's like, well, I'm only one person, so I can only be in one place at one time.
So I'd rather just be really good at one thing.
than be able to write like a number of different things but with the airbrush I don't know there's something different about it where I just thought that's really different like there's not an awful lot of people who are doing that at the minute and I feel like it's growing and it's really fun like I like it but it's expensive
Yeah.
Like it's really
funny.
I was tempted.
I did Wise's workshop.
Oh yeah, we were there, weren't we? Yeah, together.
Yeah, at the London Jam.
And I was like, this looks so cool.
And this would open up sort of like the older boys that still want something, but they don't want face paint because they don't want to be seen as babyish.
And it just opens up that sort of like older boys and young adult market for both boys and girls.
Yeah.
But I feel like girls are more likely to be able to get the festival flowers or something and still get involved with the face painting.
