So we've got a couple here.

The first one, did you used to co-own a jewellery shop in Romford called Ministry of Gold?

Of course.

It's true.

Were you working in there? No, I was not working there, but it was my shop, you know.

It was one of my first kind of English, first investments I got into is jewellery, you know, and botching industry, you know, completely new.

And Romford had good on the high street, I think, was it? It was a good location at the time.

And, you know, that's my... previous business partner, he was in the jewellery kind of business.

It's actually alright.

When I started playing non-league for Romford, this pre-season, there was one where it literally just throw in, literally touch into my stride and bang, crossbar and in from the edge of the box.

So listeners may know that I grew up in a little market town in Essex called Romford.

And of course, another snooker legend, Steve Davis.

Comes from Romford.

And when I was a teenager, we would see him driving around in his very, very expensive Rolls Royce.

And we've obviously had quite a mix of results away, but we've had a big victory, say, in Leeds.

A couple of tough games against, say, Romford and Hull, and then the close shootout in Swindon as well.

There's a lot that we can take from that in both positive and negative, really.

Oh, yeah, definitely.

So, starting off on Friday, the Leeds Knights shut out Solway, five goals to nil, and a result that I think the Knights really needed just to get them going again.

The Bristol Pitbulls fell 5-2 at home to the Bays and Stoke Bison, who had had a couple of difficult results going into that one, so a good one for them to pick up two points on the Friday night.

On the Saturday, the early face-off, and we were following it along on commentary as the game got started, Romford Raiders 3, Telford Tigers 9.

And having looked at the game sheet, it seems like one five-minute boarding call was what really gave the Tigers a chance to go to town and go to town they did.

I think his first thought was, ah, shut up! yeah then

yeah I mean it's difficult to see where it goes but yeah I think it's going to be very niche isn't it I think there's going to be a niche number of people that sort of enjoy it and But the actual really interesting thing is just creating the map.

and you're right there are things in gaming that make you feel like a god

and going from a motorway to a two-lane road at full speed in turbo esprit without crashing into anything is one of those

moments where you just yeah yeah i'm good at this game yeah it is interesting that that there is a because i've shown a few people the little promo i did who don't have any clue of this game at all so i'm just like oh yeah i'm doing this like video game and they're like oh yeah people at work and stuff And then I sort of show them it and they haven't got this nostalgia we were talking about, like being 10 years old and loading up with Romford.

So they don't have all of that, but they still look at it and go, oh yeah, that looks quite retro.
