Craig, I mean, [laughs] in fact, I, I ju-- I feel like my question to you is a laugh.

Because [laughs] I mean, what the hell's just happened there? I was just saying to you, I think you'd have been the same, think we'd all have been the same.

You'd have probably bitten your hand off for a point, given how we finished at Ukra- uh, the Hungary game in midweek.

We looked tired.

We looked leggy.

It became quite apparent that this might be our toughest game of the group, and we've just gone there and won three-nil and looked by far the better team.

This team just continues to surprise you with just how good it can be, and my God, they were magnificent tonight.

Yeah, they were.

Um, like, as a, as a standalone game, um, it's as, it's as strong a victory as, as we've seen under O'Neill in this sort of second spell.

Um, but as part of the momentum that sort of began from the moment that O'Neill decides he's staying and, and he's not gonna move to Blackburn, you forget, like, the, the angst that we had around that.

Then you have the O'Neill situation, the, the, um, the O'Neill situation around the, the FAI going into this, um, this international break, and then-

And then, and then, and then the way in which we went in Georgia, you know, there's obviously the draw that, you know, we would've liked to win at Windsor, but, you know, it's, it's fine.

And then to do what they did tonight is just, is just incredible, and, you know, there's...

You look at, you look at the team.

The average age is obviously 22, and we've talked a lot on these podcasts over the past three to four years around the age of this group and where we hope it can go.

Um, and we've talked about momentum at different stages, but it really feels now that this, this group have momentum.

And, you know, I think back to, um, the first spell under O'Neill, and he has the first, um, I think it was the World Cup qualifiers where it doesn't look great, um, but there's little, little green shoots.

And, and then the, and then they have the, the Euros campaign that they have, and, and it starts with a moment where they have adversity and then, and then Lafferty gets it, the, the, the late goal and, and it's 2-1 in Hungary, and, and they bounce from that.

And, and it feels like we've got that bounce.

We got the bounce in the first game.

But that as a performance tonight was, um, was up there with one of the best under O- uh, O'Neill, I think, because everyone to a man was brilliant.
