I love leaders at all levels of an organization, but the ones who are at the top are the ones who are absolutely making decisions that could put the organization and themselves, their families, in jeopardy.

Years ago, I was working for an organization, and I was over employee experience and engagement, and for whatever reason, something happened with our payroll system.

The payroll system shifted, and when the payroll system shifted, we changed vendors.

And so as we were talking about what should we do about this, you know, we've gotta figure out some type of solution.

Should we have them manual checks cut? And the head of HR said no, and this went on for months.

And then finally there was this little package where they said, "It's been fixed.

Go back to work." And everybody's thinking that this has been resolved, but for whatever reason it wasn't resolved.
