"Lights, Camera, MUA Magic" A Conversation with Make-up Boss Syretta Bell

Oh, that was such an amazing interview.

Oh, she's such an amazing woman.

Y'all, thank you again, Miss Bell.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I can't thank you enough.

Because especially in industries such as media, entertainment, we have heard various accounts of what that experience can be.

And to be honest, you will run into people, and this could be in any industry, you run into people who... are not as open, not as willing or quick to tell you you need to pay your dues or run you through the ringer to prove yourself and do all these things that continue to stifle or make you question the talent or what you're pursuing.

Now, don't get me wrong.

I understand the importance of hard work and showing the talent you have, but there are some people who really do gatekeep.

And really do try to stifle because they feel their position or their talent is threatened.

But when you run into those people in the industry who genuinely love to teach, who see the light in you as well, who... are willing to give you the information willing to make sure you are the best when you show up or who you know as they say iron sharpens iron they're willing to see that and push you in that direction you hold on to them and miss bell is definitely just in this time of talking to her and connecting with her she is definitely one of those people So, of course, thank you so much.
