I've heard from people that ring up and speak to us on a, the customer services helpline, in that, you know, often when they go to see a GP, the answer is medication-
... as opposed to actually looking at lifestyle and what can be done naturally to try and improve somebody's situation.
So if you were told at an early age that the answer was the pill or medication, how did you find the connection between-
... what you were eating and doing on a day-to-day basis and the impact that was having on your, your condition?

Yeah, and I think that, and we're, you know, very pro, I'm very pro medication in the right circumstance.

But my issue was is that the medications that were offered were almost acting as a bit of a plaster for the symptoms-

So again, with PCOS, we have this insulin dysregulation, and the solution was to block those androgens, and therefore my skin would get better, my cycles would regulate, which we now know doesn't really happen-

Um, and no one again mentioned that insulin part, whereas one of the most effective ways of regulating insulin is to think about protein, to think about fiber, um, and yeah, there was not really that advice given.
