Let me ask you a question.

What's the most important decision that our kids will ever make?

Oh my goodness, uh, there are a lot of decisions, but the most important? Well, one is, you know, are they gonna accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Mm-hmm.

That's an obvious one for the-

Yeah

...

the Christian community, but my goodness, it's, uh, you know, um, uh, decisions on how they're going to, uh, deal with money.

Mm-hmm.

How...

What friends are they going to, um, have.

Um, I mean, there's a plethora of stuff-

Yeah

... that they-

Are they gonna get married? Are they-

Yeah [laughs]

... gonna get married?

Are they gonna get married?

Yeah.

What jobs to do... they're gonna take.

Yeah.

Like, those are all really big decisions.

Mm-hmm.

And I think a lot of times as parents, we think about those big decisions, but the interesting part is every one of those big decisions is built upon thousands of smaller decisions.

Mm-hmm.

And it's our job as parents to help kids learn how to make those smaller decisions.
