So we were talking about, this is your second year coming to the Cannes line festival of creativity as they call it as a reporter working in the industry.

What are you looking for here? Like what is standing out to you? What's kind of like the main goal or purpose?

So like the main like deliverable that I have to have at the end of the week is like literally just a list of story ideas.

And so I basically split my time between sort of singing for my supper a little bit at the ad week house, like moderating panels, doing programming, like house stuff, social video.

And then any second that I'm not doing that, I'm supposed to be like taking meetings with sources, getting info, um, I mean in a can that looks also like dinners and happy hours and like blah blah blah so it's like basically the whole remit is just like go socialize with a million people and like don't sweat it but at the end of the week have like 15 stories kind of thing so it's very fun when you're here and then on Friday when your editor's like where's the list you're like oh shit like what did I talk about with anyone um so I've tried to be a little bit smarter about that this year And then I would say like the main sort of subjects that I came into can really try to talk about and hear about were like creators, podcasts and streaming, which like in many ways are kind of one thing or converging into one thing.

having a lot of conversations with like creator people streaming folks and podcasting a little bit but like again it's you talk to one person and they can just speak to all three of those things depending on who they are so just having a million conversations and writing a newsletter at some point yeah
