I'd mentioned the respecting canon but having our, LRT's own kind of story arc, in a way, for Holmes as well, and Watson.

I don't think in the canon it's mentioned for sure that the wife passes away, but we he- there's a bereavement mentioned, and she-

No, but I think what you did, as early as it happened, you, you gave yourself a nice place if you ever wanted to do a prequel to do some backstory about what was it like when Holmes and Watson, and Watson wasn't married, and then what was it like during the time he was married.

We really get to know, I think, Holmes a lot more by what Watson says in his, his narration, his observation, and then just Holmes' behavior.

But we don't really always get to see Watson outside of the epicenter of what Holmes is, and I think you're, you're nodding at that a little bit.

And another reason for doing the wife, wife's death early is, so one of the, part of the arc is Holmes' health issue.

But as I was thinking about this prior, you know, as a writer of, of novels, too, fiction, I'm like, you know, people care more about characters that they connect with emotionally.

Now, obviously Sherlock Holmes has this vast fan base already, so I didn't have to create that, [laughs] obviously.

But Holmes does have kind of a, a cold demeanor, and that does come through in the stories that we do.
