BE PLACES THAT FEED YOUR SOUL Your home should be clean and safe. The neighborhood should be safe. If where you spend the most time isn't safe... change it. On this podcast, I keep it 1000… people…
Question, is your home clean? And when I say clean, I'm not just talking, is there stuff on the floor? Is there stuff on the couch? Are the walls dirty? I'm talking about, do you have the proper filter system in your home when you're running that AC or that heat? Do you clean your fans weekly? Is it dust free? Do you sweep? Do you vacuum? Do you have an air purifier? Do you make sure that you're buying cleaning products that don't have harmful chemicals in it? All right, synthetic fragrances, fabric softeners, liquid soap with all types of shit in it for it to smell like flowers and shit.
Your laundry soap is not supposed to smell like flowers and shit, but your clothes do need to be clean.
They should be fresh smelling, okay? Air fresheners, okay? Chemicals and glue that can be found in cleaner, all right? Things that treat wood that can be found in cleaner are sometimes harmful to your body.
PFAs, okay? And the nonstick pans that you cook food in, not good for you, all right? So yes, does it matter that you spend the extra on a cast iron skillet? It's a healthier way to go.
Does it cost a little bit more? Yes, but it does last longer if you take care of it.
Do you have plants in your house? Plants is going to help you get the best air throughout your house.
Do you have good sunlight coming in your house? And you can tell when you don't have the proper sunlight and you're not dusting enough because one thing that a spider and a spider web is going to tell you, oh, you ain't been here in a while.
So if you ever walking through somebody's place and you see cobwebs or spider webs, they ain't cleaned enough.
Do you have cotton sheets? A lot of y'all buy sheets based upon price, but you should be buying sheets and shit and linens based upon quality.
A lot of y'all haven't changed y'all pillowcase in years, which is crazy to me.
