Story No. 27: Shows in Chattanooga, Paducah, and Nashville

This is story number 27.

Okay, so since we last spoke, I've done three really interesting, really fun shows and been around a lot of incredible people in the industry, whether they're bookers or other performers from all over the country.

There's no way I'm going to remember everybody I met, no way I'm going to remember everybody I worked with.

It's been really a whirlwind since last Thursday.

So Thursday, of last week, I hosted a show at the Lookout Comedy Festival here in Chattanooga.

The headliner was Daniel Delano, but there were other people on the show from all over the country, from New York, from, you know, there were some local people, there were people from LA, there were people just kind of from all over that I came in for this Lookout Comedy Festival, which was really fun, and some really great, great performers.

So funny.

Everybody I saw And all the different shows I went to were so great.

Really, they do a good job of booking that festival here in Chattanooga.

Next year, if you like comedy, try to make it out to one of the shows because you're going to see some really talented people.

Our crowd was a little weird.

Daniel does a lot of kind of talking to the crowd.

And he had some of the weirdest interactions I think he's had in his whole career.

But it was still really fun.

And then after that, we went to Cherry Street Tavern here in Chattanooga.

And there was a one-minute lightning round open mic kind of thing.

So anybody could get up there and do one single minute.

That was the first time I've ever done a single minute.

Tried a joke that I've done that works pretty well.

That's a little darker, a little dirtier, I guess.

Not as clean as a lot of my other comedies.

I thought it would work in that setting.

It did okay.

But it was interesting getting to work on doing like one minute, trying to like really bring the energy stand out or whatever.

And still be myself.
