Ca$htag$: UPS Pivots From AMZN as Consumer Demand Rises

So UPS has got a test in front of it.

Shares have done, when you look at it on a year-to-day basis, it looks like a whole lot of nothing, but there has been some bumpy periods.

So what does the latest intimate data look like?

I think bumpy periods for what like folio consumer demand has shown the two have moved very much in lockstep.

We've got like folio consumer demand levels indicating up 12% year over year while the stock is up 16%.

So really well aligned there.

You can see the correlation.

You know, I think that the UPS story is it's very similar.

to what we saw airlines go through which is you know how do we optimize these routes how do we get more per paying customer even if there are less customers overall and i think that's the transition ups is going through there's some really good signs You know they've been able to close facilities eliminate some overhead jobs and and costs associated with that and really target the health care and small business sector but the proof is yet to be displayed and I think.

Going into this call, we're going to be very focused on how consumers are reacting to some of the higher pricing that UPS is putting forward, how UPS is dealing with the loss of 2 million plus packages from cutting the Amazon distribution deal pretty much in half.

So UPS has a lot of restructuring to do.

They've got a lot of headwinds, but They're reacting in a really positive way that seems to be resonating with consumers on our side.

So we're going into this event as a let's see what they say kind of thing.

Let's see how things are progressing because it is a major change for UPS.

But so far they seem to be meeting the challenge.
