How The Ultimate Warrior's Trap Door Broke My Back In WCW...

Okay, so I'm working, I'm almost positive.

You have to understand I'm a recovered drug addict, so my memory's not perfect.

I can't remember who I worked with, but I did some sort of bump on this trapdoor.

It was brutal.

Cement, like it didn't no give at all.

And if you're working in a ring, doing all this stuff, we're taking our bumps.

We don't just fall.

We fall as great as we can.

They're as big as we can.

We up as far as we can and down.

So we do, all the boys are doing this and half of us are landing on this trap door.

So, uh, but they have this trap door built in the ring and, uh, To keep the fans interested or whatever the hell they were thinking, which no one knows, really.

Hogan would be in the ring cutting promos or maybe in a match.

And Warrior would appear up through the ring.

So how does he get up through the ring? They had a built-in trapdoor special ring just for this.

So...

I take a bump on this thing, and my back is gone.

I can't stand up straight.

The next day I fly back to Atlanta, which is where I live, and they have an appointment with me with some back specialists there.

We do MRI and all these x-rays and shit on my back.

You have these bones in your back.

They're called PAR, P-A-R.

What they are, they're little hooks, and they hook your vertebrae, and they prevent your vertebrae from sliding forward and backwards.

Without these bones, your vertebrae won't stay in place.

So the doctor said mine were disintegrated.
