K
65:44Kelly WellsHOST
yeah it's amazing how what people expect out of a wrestling match can be so different because like one of my favorite matches to this day is a fairly nondescript match between Ricky Steamboat and Rick Rude on Royal Rumble 1988 and it's almost all Steamboat working Rude's wrist and arm and God, I love it because it's so strong psychologically and Steamboat can do any damn bump you ask of him.
K
66:20Kelly WellsHOST
But as you say, he preserved his bump card.
K

What a lovely match that is.

I think the only person who had anything bad to say about him was Rick Rude because he basically ended his career with a spot that he told not to do.

One thing I've always wondered about with that trade, and I guess I've never had a good answer on this, did Memphis think that they were getting a good deal by getting Bundy and Neidhart and Rick Rude back and giving up? Because when you look at the players that got moved over, it's just like, well, yeah, obviously all the guys going to Mid-South are incredible.
