On this more personal episode, I talk about how I'm handling peak marathon training for Chicago marathon with coaching fall marathoners, working on projects, and growing the business.

Also, I am coaching many women who are running fall marathons and also running my run field program.

I have a lot of amazing run coaches in there and several new coaches who joined in August and a new one-on-one client there.

And I am certainly in this season of maintaining in terms of growth for my business, meaning I have no, I have, my roster is closed for my run coaching.

Of course, it's kind of an ongoing, just a thing that, I haven't been doing a big push for runner rising or anything.

And it's just like this kind of client service mode right now, because I have athletes changing schedules.

I have athletes who unfortunately have had injuries that we've had to, or at least starting injuries, you know, where there's discussions and going back and forth with physical therapists or getting an MRI and whatnot.

And as a coach, you probably relate to this, that you take your athletes goals and you make them your own and you take a lot of ownership over them and while of course we're not going to we don't we try not to tie our own emotions into their goals and i do this the same with my business clients um with the run coaches i mentor i really care about them and their results and i often think about them at night when i'm falling asleep or when i'm on my run or i'm thinking about how i can help them or their problems or I just really take on what everyone's doing.

And as a high achiever myself and someone who certainly puts a lot of emphasis on results and outcomes, and this has always been an area of work for me, I really have, as a coach, have had to work through this idea that their outcomes don't mean anything.

I have to take that part that I know I'm working on and remove it from my coaching, right? I know that the process is by far the most important thing.
