So before we can speak on asthma, September asthma peak, we have to understand what is asthma.

So asthma is a chronic lung disease, right? So chronic meaning that it is with us for the rest of our life.

But what I forgot to add in that episode is the add on to that is that when people like to tell me that they grew out of their asthma is that I say, OK, well, I'm happy to hear that you your asthma is under control.

and asthma is something that can be dormant in the body it could be chilling until something um an issue pops up or you are exposed to something that triggers the asthma to come back up again and so that's why we say it's a chronic lung disease of the airways right so think of your airways as the branches on a tree and you have those small branches that get smaller and smaller so think of your airways something like something like that dope For those of you that can see, so we have our normal airway.

We start to deal with mucus, okay? And then we deal with inflammation, right? Swelling.
