Keir Starmer won a landslide victory less than two years ago in the UK, but his time in Number 10 Downing Street is up.

A new UK Prime Minister could be in place within weeks after Starmer resigned following months of pressure.

The favourite to take over is the veteran politician Andy Burnham, who recently returned as an MP and looks set to become Prime Minister in a matter of weeks.


So will he be able to solve the UK's problems, or is it just a matter of time before another election is called?
