Bloomsbury just casually dropped 11 new Reader's Guides, adding to the collection and giving us a guide for every currently published book. And honestly...the questions are very interesting. Across…
So if you haven't seen, which most people had not seen, because we started going to Instagram and TikTok and People, everybody was like, what are you talking about? Bloomsbury, Sarah J.
Massa's publisher, released officially on Friday.
I'm going to say officially.
They released official guides unofficially.
They did it completely on the sly.
There were like no announcements.
There was like no information.
It was very interesting.
For all of her books, there are reader's guides.
So on the 9th, whenever this comes out, this was October 9th, 11 new guides dropped.
Yeah,
and every crescent city and some of the questions that they are posing are very interesting so interesting like
there is a lot here okay there is a lot to uncover it's you got to pay attention so hence i posted about it i shared it on instagram to get people to know about it because i knew that we wanted to do this podcast to talk about some of this and we need people to know that they actually exist so it's yeah
yeah before we get into the questions i had a couple people that they sent me a message and they were like what is a reading guide and why do we care and what's important and if you are not if you haven't been part of the book club sphere you might not have seen as many reading guides but basically they are resources published by the publishers to create conversation and to help like groups that want to dig into it.
So like books clubs, we had a lot of readers guides in high school for like teachers and classes, or just the readers who want to look beyond the surface of the story, which is everything we do here.
So readers grades are kind of perfect for novel theories, but
yeah,
we could have just brought them along and
sat down and just gone through the questions that could have been enough for us, but it's definitely something you could bring.
If you're in a book club, you might sit down, bring these questions and especially finish the book.
then go around and ask these questions.
So they're kind of doing the hard work for you where you would have to generate these questions.
They've already created them.
