Rocky Jordan: The Genacos Affair

Now, starring George Raft, we bring you a world of adventure with...

Rocky Jordan.

I'm Rocky Jordan.

I run the Café Tambourine in Cairo.

You've heard the old saying, everything comes to him who waits.

I remember one time, if I waited then, I'd be waiting still.

Real still.

Dead.

Dead.

The Cafe Tambourine, crowded with tourists, camel drivers, women, cheats, forgotten men down on their luck, the lonely and the lost.

For this is Cairo, gateway to the ancient east.

where modern adventure and intrigue unfold against the backdrop of antiquity.

Tonight's partially transcribed Rocky Jordan story, The Janakos Affair.

Hi,

I'm Chris, Rocky Jordan's barkeep.

Been working for him for years now.

I guess I know the rock better than anyone.

I know he's so closed-mouthed, you'd never find out what went on around here if I wasn't such a yak.

But you know, it isn't always Rocky who plays it shy

with the words.

I'm thinking of the time Rocky was beating his brains out trying to get someone else to open up.

Yeah, I remember how that one began.

Night.

All the Kyrenes asleep.

Rocky, too, in his apartment over the tambourine.
